Death(3) Every soul shall taste of death. (Koran)(Ale Omran, 185) There are some points I notice here. Tasting something means to fully comprehend how something is. In order to feel something, one has to be conscious, so it’s indirectly saying that death doesn’t encompass the soul, but soul will be present and alive to taste it. Also, tasting something takes some time, so there are two possibilities. Either there is a time period, though very short, that death happens in that, maybe a fraction of a second. The other possibility is that, death is a period, part of it observed by those in this world, but it continues in the world to come, though the second one cannot be measured by our way of measuring time.
