History of Bagdad is an amazing one; an old city which has seen Abbasid Caliphes, Persians, Mongols ,Ottomans, British and now Americans. Once Abu Moslem Khorasani , who was Persian, entered the city victoriously with his army in the eight century. In the thirteenth century, Halaku Khan, who was Mongol, occupied it. In the 17th century Persians were defeated by Ottomans and lost the city; then British came. And now it is the Americans' turn!(posted by Iman)
